About the Item

A beautiful and very original early 19th Century French Louis XV style oak commode. With three large drawers and superb serpentine front. White paint is very old, if not original and nicely worn which only adds to it's charm. Brass handles and escutcheons are all original. The locks are intact but keys are long gone I'm afraid. A little beauty! Circa 1820.
