About the Item
An antique French pair of Provencal chests of drawers or commodes made of hand crafted Pinewood with bowed fronts and an ecru color aged patina, in good condition. The painted commodes have a slightly raised rectangular tops with round corners. The chests have three drawers each and these are patinated by dark grey band accentuating each drawer. The chests are raised on circular feet. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1830, France.
