19th Century Rustic Oak Cabinet ~ Chest of Drawers is a very versatile piece, suitable for any casual decor, and able to serve as a side table, a chest of drawers, a nightstand, linen press ~ the list is long! Hand-crafted from solid planks of old-growth oak, it was literally designed to last for centuries, and includes simple chamfered panels across the door facade, with no-nonsense plank and panel construction throughout, utilizing pegged mortise
tenon joints and a hand-forged steel lockwork, key guard and strike. Even the hinges appear to be hand-made, firmly double staked into the framework on both sides of each hinge. Open the panel door and you'll find three spacious interior drawers, perfect for keeping things organized. Each drawer is fitted with a hand-forged heart-shaped steel pull which only adds to the charm!
