Rare and original piece 20th century French walnut "Billet doux". Used to write letters behind the fabric wall to be hidden. Louis XV style.
The first drawer is a fake one. There is two other drawers and one on the right side.
Nice walnut and wood marquetry.
You can pull the fabric to hide from pying eyes.
