About the Item

This is a very elegant 20th century chest of drawers. French in origin and made from kingwood with rosewood inlay. The heavy bronze handles and decoration are of high quality and suit the bold design of the piece perfectly. The dark colour of the chest works so well with the dark grey figured marble top. All looks to be original and overall condition is very good with minor age related marks. The marble has been repaired but done in a way that the repair looks like a vein in the stone. The set is a generous size offering plenty of storage and will work well in a great number of interiors. Height 90cm Width 128cm Depth 56cm
