A good antique English Georgian tall mahogany dresser, chest of drawers, circa 1790.
This handsome tall antique country chest of drawers is from the late 1700s, the chest is made from solid mahogany and the secondary woods are white pine, the chest is of dovetailed construction throughout.
The dresser has two short drawers over four graduated drawers, the drawers are fitted with the original oval brass handles, the four graduated drawers are all fitted with ivory shield shaped lock escutcheons. The drawers open and close with ease and are free from aroma, the chest provides plenty of useful storage for clothing and is raised on bracket feet.
This handsome six drawer Georgian dresser from the late 1700s is in very good condition and is ready to grace your home.
