About the Item

A classic antique circa 1920s English pine dresser with old cream colored paint accented with a white French line. The color combination is so understated and elegant, which would blend with almost any color scheme. The surface of the paint is smooth to the touch. Five drawers with brass key escutcheons offer ample storage space. The drawers glide smoothly as you pull on the charming old wood knobs which exhibit layers old paint, due to a century of wear. Note the distressed areas in the paint, particularly at the edges and along the bottom kickplate. This adds to the charm of the piece.  Measurements 41.5"H x 41.5"W x 20.5"D Condition commensurate with age and use. Random scratches and imperfections in the wood. Drawers glide and the casework of this dresser is strong, ready for many more decades of use. The top has been seamlessly repainted with a color matched paint and portions of the white lines have been overpainted, as this piece was heavily worn when found.
