Its later but incredibly authentic distressed paintwork gives a lovely worn finish that enhances its rustic appeal. Features and Craftsmanship 19th century Structurally sound with no loose joints Drawers slide freely Brushing slide surface pulls out at the top Later brassware handles which suit the overall piece No keys; locks untested Condition In good antique condition overall, showing expected signs of age, including historic marks, knocks, cracks, repairs, and alterations consistent with period furniture and its worn/distressed styling. Just few historic (now extinct) woodworm holes have been treated.
