About the Item
An absolutely stunning antique hand painted dresser with distressed white paint and blue trompe l'oeil French line motif. The top drawers are embellished with a trompe l'oeil Greek key motif. Note the hand-cut dovetail construction. The drawers glide smoothly and offer plenty of storage. The dresser portion sits on elegant but sturdy turned legs. Antique brass tone ring shaped (neoclassical in style) handles are a beautiful accent. Key serves as a pull for the top drawers.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Recently distress painted so no need to worry about lead paint as you do with furniture that has old paint. Note the random scratches in the paint, as well as areas of distressing. The dresser is strong and sturdy, ready for many years of use and enjoyment!
