About the Item
Antique French Louis XVI marble top walnut commode was hand-crafted in the neoclassical style and features truly timeless architecture. The gracefully and subtly bowed front blends into rounded, fluted corners which flare at the back against the wall. The effect is such that when viewed from above, the casework creates a lyre shape. A luxuriously veined marble top has been hand-contoured and hand-beveled to following the exact contours of the casework below. Crafted from sumptuous hand-select French walnut, it has been fitted with brass and bronze molding, accents and drawer pulls, all supported by tapered legs tipped in bronze feet, making it the perfect choice to finish out a room in style!
