About the Item
Antique French Louis XVI Commode restored with an Ebonized Finish over 200-years-old. Our French Louis XVI Ebonized Commode was hand-sanded to the bare wood and given an old Ebonized finish. The old French Toile fabric drawer lining was left intact and we think it's a great subtle added touch to what otherwise would just be a nondescript wooden drawer. This Antique French Ebonized Commode is on the smaller size and virtually fits anywhere.

Antique French Louis XVI Style Bookcase, or if you prefer, Antique French Ebonized Bibliotheque made from solid mahogany over 100-years ago to a very high standard. We have had our share of antique, or supposed to be Antique French mahogany Louis XVI style bookcases, however most tend to be constructed during the 1950’s. This Antique French Ebonized Bookcase is the real deal and is a genuine antique, which our inhouse Old Plank restoration department beautifully restored, with an old school ebonized finish. The French Louis XVI bookcase was completely disassembled (makes for easy ingress and egress), hand-stripped to the bare mahogany wood, restored as necessary and refinished in this deep black Napoleon III style ebonized and brass exterior.
