About the Item
We are pleased to offer here a French Marble Top Commode in Louis XV style with ormolu mounts. A lovely traditional cabinet in the French style that made Versailles the opulent showcase it is. This commode while not quite that age has the look to add the bling that a fine show piece should have. Three shaped drawers make this a versatile furniture piece with a useful bit of storage. A perfect augment to a foyer or entrance. The marble stone top makes for a good serviceable surface for keys and the like. Place a small lamp on the stone top and enjoy the warm comforting glow.
Drawers come with one key, top and bottom drawer have working locks, middle drawer does not.
