About the Item
Antique Louis XVI style brass mounted mahogany chest of drawers with marble top, late 19th century. With a rectangular gray marble top with turret corners and molded front and side edges, two top drawers and two lower drawers all with inset brass moldings flanked by fluted and stop fluted half columns, single board left and two board right side, resting on turned legs ending in brass sabots. Hand dove tailed drawer construction. This chest would fit nicely in either a traditional or contemporary interior with clean straight lines.
