About the Item
Antique mahogany bow front chest with four drawers having bone diamond form escutcheons and later added oval drop pull handles with embossed flowers. The chest with cross banding and an intricate striped inlay around the perimeters of the drawers and top. The case with a scalloped apron and inlaid shell medallion. The whole resting upon saber legs.
Dimensions: 21" D, 38 3/4" H and 39 3/4" W
Condition: No key. Stable age crack on right side and to second drawer, multiple repairs to cross banding trim especially corners, veneer losses to left leg and shell medallion. Later added pulls evidenced by the back of the front drawer panels. Please see photos for details of condition.
