- Condition:Repaired: This tallboy has been polished, waxed and shined, some of the moldings around the drawers have been replaced, check the photos for more details! Wear consistent with age and use. This chest of drawers is in good unrestored antique condition, with traces appropriate to its age, over 200 years old! Not all handles are still original, a smaller handle has been placed on the bottom left, some chips and cracks in the veneer.

Antique French Gilded Mirror Baroque Style 19th Century 148cm

Large antique narrow gilded mirror from the 19th century, completely in classical baroque style, France circa 1870.
The mirror still has its original mirror plate that is decoratively weathered and mocked, which is very desirable, the frame is decorated with acanthus leaves all around, mainly decorated very ornately at the top and bottom, unfortunately the mirror was once painted over with gold paint, which does damage the authenticity somewhat, under the paint is the original gold leaf. The back of the mirror is finished with planks, as was customary at that time.
A nice extra is that the planks on the back are covered with antique French newspapers...
