About the Item
A superb antique Victorian period chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1850-60’s period.
It is of outstanding quality, it is very heavy and well built. It’s a great size with lots of storage space inside the generous drawers. There are lovely brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints, this sits on a plinth base.
The wood has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, we have just had this re-polished, the condition is great for its age. There are various small marks and indentations beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
