About the Item
Black chest of drawers featuring four drawers resting on a square base. Its front is adorned with rows of stylized grey flowers, with gold-colored handles emerging in relief. The top is adorned with a faceted embedded glass panel. The cubic bedside tables, designed as an opposing pair, are similarly decorated with crowns, with their tops also covered with embedded glass panels.
Matteo Thun, born in Bolzano, Italy in 1952, is a distinguished architect and designer from the renowned Thun family. After studying at the Salzburg Academy and graduating in architectural studies from the University of Florence in 1975, he co-founded the Memphis Group in Milan. Thun later established his own studio and served as art director for Swatch before founding Matteo Thun
