About the Item
This 18th century carved and dated oak chest retains its old surface with warm patina. Truly one of a kind, the front is decorated with carved initials I.D. and date 1742. It includes early brasses (but unlikely original). A handsome and sophisticated piece that will add charm and character to any space.
The rectangular hinged top opening to a well above a case fitted with two molded panel doors and three drawers below, raised on shaped bracket feet. Sides with raised panels and agee bracket feet.
