About the Item

Charming small chest of drawers in blue-painted pine, crafted in the Baroque style. The piece features four drawers with original brass handles. The two central drawers are slightly recessed and flanked by turned columns, while the top and bottom drawers are bordered by flat, profiled pilasters. Horizontal mouldings divide the body and accentuate the classical proportions of the design. The legs are elegantly curved at the front and tapered at the back. Origin: Sweden, circa 1840
