About the Item
A particularly fine Chest with beautiful workmanship and superb form. The graining of the wood, Ash or possibly Oak creates a decorative and attractive patterning. The inlaid top, sides and front rely on simple but refined use of geometric circles and rectangles. With Wreath Form pulls and escutcheons and standing on tapered legs.
Dimensions: 43.25” wide by 10.25” deep by 36.25” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is age related stable wood checking, frame and leg nicks, some top crack fills, lighter scratches and a few stable age cracks and small trim and veneer losses mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is extraordinary.
