Rare 18th-century Italian console chest of drawers from the Ferrara area.Strongly distinctive piece of furniture, with fir internal structure and walnut burl veneer with a marked and warm grain. The hand-carved legs have the characteristic "ham" shape typical of the Ferrara tradition, with a slender and elegant profile. The significant thickness of the slab and the presence of hand-forged nails confirm the high quality craftsmanship of the work. The cabinet retains a beautiful original patina and is in excellent condition. It measures 123 cm in width, 62 cm in depth and 84 cm in height. Unique, rare and decorative piece, suitable for both historic and more contemporary settings. Worldwide shipping upon request.
