About the Item
A finely constructed mahogany chest, the top with a carved edge. Two banks of four deep drawers each with moldings and brass bales are below. Raised on a carved base.
Dimensions: 29 1/2" W x 19" D x 35" H
Condition: Please see the detail photos. Lacking a key. Various signs of age and use include the top with wear, old ring marks, stains , old gouges and some scratches from normal use, a diagonal stable age split between the first and second drawer on the right. One lower right drawer is stuck in place and likely locked with expected wear around the plinth base. The aforementioned is for accuracy as the presentation remains stately and fine.
