We are delighted to offer for sale this absolute work of Art of a nightstand sized Chest of Drawers in pine with Oyster / Laburnum wood finish which dates to the end of the William Mary era circa 1700 Wow, I mean just wow. This is quite simply the most stunning little chest of drawers I have ever seen in my life, the finish is beyond words, in real life this little chest glows, the detail and cuts of wood are mind blowing, I love every inch of it, the main shell is a period 1700 pine frame with exquisite cuts of oyster / laburnum wood, all over, this is pure art furniture I have a pair of these which are larger but with less detail on the top and sides, listed under my other items This piece has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks all over as you would hope to find with genuine pieces from this era, nothing that detracts from how sumptuous it is Dimensions Height:- 62.5cm Width:- 54.5cm Depth:- 37cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
