About the Item

A fine early 20th Century richly patinated marble top chest of drawers, of fabulous quality, finely carved, crossbanded, quarter veneered and with stunning, highly inlaid marquetry panels throughout. The gorgeous, moulded Sienna marble top of rectangular form is raised over three cockbeaded long drawers, all fitted with decorative finely cast brass ring pulls and escutcheons and with exquisite marquetry panel detail, depicting an urn with a beautiful arrangement of flowers flanked with geometric patterns, raised over shaped apron terminating on elegant tapering square leg.
