About the Item
Antique Dutch desk, first half of the 18th century.
Antique Dutch folding desk made of precious exotic woods, dating from the first half of the 18th century.
The front features a folding door with a series of drawers and compartments that are fully inlaid with a floral motif.
Below the folding door are three rounded drawers, accentuated by skillfully chiseled gilded bronze beaks.
A multi-layered carved base with a central coat of arms connects the two lion paws.
