About the Item
A French mahogany two-drawer chest from the early 20th century. This antique French chest features two dovetailed drawers decorated with exquisite Empire style hardware. The keyholes are hidden behind the ornamental escutcheons in their center. This French chest is adorned with delicate metal trimming inlaid in a geometric pattern, framing each drawer and each dresser side. The chest is raised up nicely on square tapered legs which terminate into petite cubed feet. This lovely French mahogany side chest would work perfectly in a bedroom, office or living room with your choice of decoration atop.
