About the Item

A French wooden commode with three drawers and unusual front feet. This vintage chest from France has three full-sized and graduated drawers, raised panel sides, linear accents down the front side posts, and nice/clean skirt line. The feet are quite terrific and unusual; being bracket style with carved tapering stacks and volutes at their outward sides. The dove-tailed drawers are each fitted with a pair of brass pulls. The wood has a custom bleached finish which is complimented with a blue/grey trim. This lovely French commode is just over 3 feet in width, and will make a wonderful case piece for your storage and display needs.

A French painted wood, raised two-drawer chest from the 19th century. This antique chest from France features a slightly overhanging faux-marble painted top, with case beneath consisting of two stacked, dovetailed drawers, a nice carved skirt along three sides, and raised upon four curvy legs with exaggerated knees that project outwardly. The vintage paint is an ochre color with off white/gray in the trim around the drawers and legs.
