This French Provincial Louis XV–Style Carved Wood Commode / Chest of Drawers is super elegant! Craft in oak wood, the commode features four full-length drawers, each framed with scrolling rococo motifs and fitted with ornate brass handles. The front apron is richly carved with acanthus and shell detailing, continuing the decorative language of 18th-century French design.
Raised on classic cabriole legs with scroll feet, the piece has a warm, honey-oak finish that highlights the natural grain and adds a soft, traditional character. Its proportions make it ideal for use as a bedroom dresser, entry chest, or accent storage piece in a French Country, Traditional, Provincial, or Shabby Chic interior.
