Charming 19th-century French Provincial chest of drawers, crafted from solid wood and retaining a beautifully timeworn painted surface. The rectangular top sits above six drawers arranged in three rows, each fitted with its original ornate cast metal pull. The softly layered paint shows areas of wear, rubbing, and loss, revealing the warm wood beneath and lending the piece its authentic, collected character. Early construction details are visible throughout, including hand-cut dovetail joinery, uneven drawer bottoms, and subtle tool marks consistent with provincial craftmanship.
