A handsome French semainier or tall chest of mahogany from the late 18th century, featuring a white marble top over a frieze with seven drawers between opposing reeded columns, with paneled sides - each drawer with a beaded frame and embossed brass pulls and center escutcheon.
Set upon raised turned feet with brass caps.
Seven drawers to this fine piece, one for each day of the week, la semaine!.
