A French side chest with expandable top from the mid 20th century. This vintage chest from France features a square shaped top, which has a pair of folded leaves at top, when flipped outward, extends the 17" square top to a 33.5" by 17" top- a very handy and useful function! The case below house a pair of stacked drawers. This mid-century chest from France has a clean, straight skirt, and is presented upon four gracefully curved and slender legs.
