About the Item
A nice nine drawer Chippendale Georgian Chest on Chest with a dental mold cornice. This piece retains its original surface, hardware and locks. Case and drawer fronts are nicely figured solid Mahogany and the drawers and case wood are quarter sawn Oak and Pine. Great color and patina on the original surface. This is a heavy piece with large deep drawers. Old repairs, surface imperfections, case cracks, and color differences throughout consummate with age.
