About the Item
An Italian wooden chest of two drawers from the 19th century. This antique wooden chest from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top which overhangs a case that houses a pair of stacked drawers. The raised panel drawers, one above the other, are fitted with Rococo style hardware with escutcheons at their centers. This piece is raised up nicely upon four spaded legs. The wood has a warm patina with nice aging throughout. This 19th century Italian chest is a great smaller-sized case-piece that makes for endless possibilities of placement and use throughout the home!
