About the Item
A grand Italian Renaissance Revival dresser and mirror made of solid walnut with architectural details including turned fluted columns, arches, and ornate cornice. Tall chest has five dovetailed drawers with original cast brass pulls and gray marble top. Large arched beveled mirror has carved finials and and elaborate crown with carved putti surrounded by rosebuds. Mirror attaches to the back of chest with iron brackets. Renaissance grandeur with a luxurious, palatial look. Good quality and craftsmanship. Minor trim loss and repairs. This is part of a bedroom suit set with a matching pair of twin beds and nightstands, sold separately. Please see other listings. Circa 1900-1920

A 19th Century French Louis Philippe étagère, or display cabinet with shelves. Made of solid rosewood with fine lemon wood marquetry inlay borders and rosettes. Good quality craftsmanship with carved barley twist columns and delicate turned finials. Tiered top shelves with s-curved decorative supports and mirrored back above two glass paned cabinets, each with working lock and key. Bottom cabinet opens to one adjustable shelf. The mirrors are old with silvered patina. Small repair to right curved decoration and finials. Elegant tall, slim proportions. Circa 1820-1830.

Handsome antique Victorian dresser of solid walnut and burl walnut with white marble top and black painted turned wood and brass teardrop pulls. It is in wonderful antique condition with an amazing antique patina. The candle shelves were broken and there was a small piece of molding missing on the lower left side of the mirror frame, but the shelves have been repaired beautifully and the molding carved and replaced by our experienced staff. There are other smalls signs of its long life and use including some staining on the antique white marble. We love its warm antique age patina. The mirror glass is clear but old. Please see photos, circa mid-late 19th century.
