This furniture was made during the Meiji period (1860s-1900s) and is a valuable piece of furniture that has transcended time and remains today. The drawer fronts are made of zelkova wood, and the expression of the wood grain slightly emerging from the wood is quietly beautiful. The handles are made of iron.
