This is a wooden drawer made of cedar wood from the Meiji and Taisho periods (circa 1868-1920) in Japan. The warm texture peculiar to cedar wood stands out, and the rustic simplicity of the construction gives it a deep, unique antique flavor. It is rare to find cedar wood with such a rich atmosphere, and the beauty of the natural wood tones and textures created by the aging process is its greatest appeal. The edges of the main body and drawers are rounded after years of use, which gives the overall impression of softness and friendliness. The sides are fitted with thicker handle fittings that have a strong presence, and are a tight accent in terms of both function and design. It remains in very good condition with no noticeable loss.
