About the Item
A variation, in much larger proportions, of our handcrafted modernist nightstands or end table drawers. The main upper box is detailed with exposed hand-cut dovetail jointing and contains one spacious traditional dovetail jointed drawer. A light curve design is cut into and around the legs and follows along the facia.
Designed and handmade by our highly experienced craftspeople in England. Hand finished in highly durable oils. These are constructed from the finest English quartersawn oak.
This is a contemporary modernist design with Scandinavian influences utilising authentic and traditional English furniture craftsmanship and fine timbers.
These can be made to your custom dimensions/bespoke design if required. Also available in American black walnut.

These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
