About the Item

Exceptional large highboy chest, armoire, wardrobe designed by Renzo Rutili, made by the Johnson Furniture Company, retailed by John Stuart, circa 1960's. This impressive cabinet features 13 exterior drawers, and two doors which open to two interior drawers, and addition shelved storage. The case has a stylish beveled edge overhanging top, and sculpted organic modern legs. This example is in very good, clean, ready to use condition, showing only minor cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Specifically, the swing open doors will bump against the drawer pulls when fully opened. This has resulted in corresponding semi circular dents on the surface of the doors, please see images. Please view the matching night stands and large dresser, listed separately at Barbarella Home on 1st Dibs.
