About the Item

This large antique rococo chest of drawers features a serpentine front, handsome brass hardware pulls and rests on large bun feet. It has been given an exceptional new professional blue layered painted finish (with mottled white undertones) and has been lightly distressed, bringing out the natural oak wood below while fitting the age and grace of this large commode. This chest has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers function with two large brass pulls. Two large iron side handles allow for easier installation. All cracks (see top and sides), dings, scratches, aged separation (typical in back and bottom of drawers) are reflective of 200 years of use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large chest of drawers.
