This elegant Swedish Baroque chest of drawers dates to the late 18th century, circa 1790–1810, and exemplifies the graceful movement and restrained ornamentation characteristic of the period. The softly curved façade and shaped apron create a fluid silhouette, while the cabriole legs lend lightness and balance to the form. Retaining its original painted surface in a nuanced grey with subtle white highlights, the finish displays gentle wear consistent with age, adding depth and authenticity without compromising refinement. The chest opens to two generously sized drawers, each fitted with original brass handles and functioning locks with keys.
