This elegant Louis-Philippe chest of drawers from the late 19th century embodies the discreet charm and solid craftsmanship of French cabinetmaking, rooted in the soft landscapes of the Loire Valley where it was created. Carefully crafted by a skilled cabinetmaker, it features meticulously selected cherry burl, with a book-matched grain on the front forming a natural tableau of warm, deep tones—a true signature of the finest pieces from this period.
The grey-pink marble top from the Pyrénées, precisely set within the structure, subtly captures the light and reveals delicate shades ranging from pearl grey to tender pink depending on the time of day. The chest offers six functional drawers:
• Three smaller drawers at the top, lockable with their original metal locks and escutcheons,
