Louis XV period 1780’s commode, original painted finish.
Charming French Louis XV period painted three drawer commode from the third quarter of the 18th century. This chest of drawers has its original paint and a wonderful patina. It rests on four short cabriole legs. The three drawers, with original locks, have incised and painted decoration. Both sides and the top are painted with beautiful rocaille framed scenes and vases. These components make this chest of drawers an impressive piece of French furniture.
Good antique condition commensurate age and use.
