Louis XVI Dresser, South German 1780.
This original 18th century Louis XVI dresser has three drawers and stands on four square tapering feet.
It is embellished with beautiful walnut and cherry veneer. The individual veneer fields are separated by geometric ribbon inlays made of boxwood and plum wood.
As a special feature the handles are mounted on walnut veneer fields in the shape of a brass fitting. Additionally, the escutcheons are also framed by walnut veneer ovals.
The Louis XVI dresser is in very good refinished and French polished condition.
