A Handsome 19th Century Oak British Military Officer's Campaign Chest of Drawers This striking mid-19th-century oak campaign chest of drawers exudes the timeless elegance and functionality typical of British military furniture. Crafted around 1840, it features a rectangular top with original brass-bound mounted corners. The chest is cleverly designed in two sections, making it easily transportable, a necessity for officers on the move. Featuring two short and three long graduated drawers with the original flush-fitted brass handles. Additionally, the chest comes with four screw-in turned feet, which are detachable to facilitate easy packing and moving, reflective of its historical campaign purpose.
