About the Item

This substantial and reserved Mid-Century Modernist Chest of Drawers in Ebonized Walnut and Antique Nickel Hardware originates from the United States, Circa 1960. Features a plinth base with sabot detailing and beautifully subtle bevels and grooved detailing throughout. The hardware is reminiscent of eastern design motifs, a common reference in Mid-Century Design often borrowing and simplifying into modern and unique expressions. The bottom four drawers are equidistantly spaced with hinged pulls in nickel and provide ample storage, with the top drawer divided into three sections with subtle rain drop form pulls also in Nickel, with rectangular surface framing each section. Highly usable and versatile, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors.
