About the Item

A rare and imposing late 18th Century French oak three drawer chest of good colour and beautiful proportions. An exceptional scale, this two metre wide piece has three long drawers flanked by architectural quarter columns above a simple plinth base. The chest retains its original hardware but has no key for the locks. Circa 1790.
