An exceptional original chest of drawers featuring a beautifully double-mirrored top panel and a finely crafted four-drawer front with exquisite, highly figured grain. The drawers are adorned with elegant brass escutcheons, each fitted with working locks. The piece comes complete with four original keys.
Expertly and sensitively restored, the surface has been hand-polished with shellac, giving it a rich, deep lustre characteristic of traditional craftsmanship. The body of the chest rests on rounded feet, lending the piece a grounded and harmonious silhouette.
