About the Item

A pair of elegant Gustavian pine chests of three drawers painted in soft blue with pair of griffins highlighting the top drawer. Canted fluted side posts with upper carved lion head medallion, dentil molding, raised on four tapered fluted feet. Each of the functioning drawers have 2 brass pulls and decorative key hole cover (no keys included). The newer, professionally applied and layered light seafoam blue painted finish (with mottled white undertones) is perfectly distressed to fit the age and grace of this stunning pair of Gustavian chests which will serve well as matching nightstands. Restored and ready for use, drawers function. All nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. is reflective of age and use and does not detract from the function nor elegant appeal of this striking pair of chests. Please refer to professional photos to clearly understand finish, colors, details, condition, etc. Individual monitors/screens and professional lighting will impact how items are viewed. Close up photos are best representation of color which definitely reveal blue in addition to green creating a seafoam appearance. May appear more blue in less light.
