About the Item

Pair of 19th painted Swedish chest of drawers circa 1880. Good quality pair of Swedish hand painted commodes, ideal for many rooms around the home. Rectangular top with front canted corners and finished with a moulded edge. Each fitted with 3 graduating drawers, top drawer decorated with a carved greek key design and all fitted with later ring handles.  Further decorated with applied carvings and channeled grooving to the canted corners.  Each raised on 4 tapered legs. Later paint which has become faded and worn through in places.  Minor none structural age splits to top surface and sides.  Drawers run straight and true.  Ready for everyday use.
