A classic pair of 19th-century Gustavian-style chests of drawers, circa 1880-1890, crafted from solid pine and featuring a distinctive broken-front design. These elegant pieces are painted in a warm gray tone, beautifully aged with a rich patina that highlights their timeless character and craftsmanship. The chests exhibit decorative dentil molding beneath the countertop, adding an understated yet refined touch to their design. The cut corners of the chests are adorned with a delicate milled decorative strip, showcasing the precision and attention to detail characteristic of Gustavian furniture. Each chest features three spacious drawers, all fitted with original brass ring pulls and escutcheons.
